چکیده
Abstract This work communicates recent measurements of CN in laser-induced plasma. The main goals and objectives comprise (a) exploring measurement using optical emission spectroscopy breakdown plasma; (b) determining the effects shockwave for time delays order 1 μs; (c) evaluating spatial distribution signals; (d) inferring temperature distribution; (e) associating recorded shadowgraphs with laser-spectroscopy results. Q-switched, 150 mJ, 6 ns pulsed Nd:YAG laser radiation at fundamental wavelength 1064 nm is used to generate micro-plasma a gas mixture ultra-high purity nitrogen research grade carbon dioxide. Optical emissions are dispersed by 0.64-m Czerny-Turner spectrometer an intensified charge-coupled device records data along slit dimensions. analysis utilizes Abel integral inversion techniques determination spatiotemporal profiles.

Stand-off Planetary Surface Analysis Using Laser-induced Breakdown Spectroscopy and Laser-induced Plasma Ion Mass
Introduction. Characterization of useable planetary materials will require high sampling throughput. Although remote observations from orbiting spacecraft provide spatially wide coverage, they do not, by themselves, provide sufficient information for materials utilization purposes. On the other hand, active rover-based in-situ analyses can provide detailed geological information but can be very...
متن کاملSimple Laser-Induced Fluorescence Setup to Explore Molecular Spectroscopy
We will demonstrate a relatively simple, affordable and highly visual experiment to explore molecular spectroscopy by measuring the laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) spectrum of the iodine molecules at room temperature. Iodine is a uniquely suited molecule for LIF measurements since it conveniently absorbs about 20,000 lines in the 490to 650-nm visible region of the spectrum and serves excellent...
متن کاملLaser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy
Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) is a powerful analytical technique that can be used for the detection and characterization of materials. In LIBS, a focused laser beam is used to generate a plasma plume on the surface of solid and liquid samples or inside the sample volume of gases, liquids, and aerosols. Each excited atom in the plasma emits a unique set of spectral lines, particula...
